This exam preparation course is designed to guide students through the 2024 International Residential Code (IRC) chapter by chapter, with a strong focus on residential mechanical systems. Led by an experienced instructor, the course emphasizes key code sections, inspection practices, and real-world field expectations commonly encountered by residential mechanical inspectors. Students will benefit from structured lessons that include code highlights, homework assignments, quizzes, and practice exams to reinforce learning and build confidence. Special attention is given to identifying what is most likely to appear on the certification exam and how code knowledge applies during actual inspections. This course is specifically designed to prepare participants for the ICC M1 Residential Mechanical Inspector Certification Exam by strengthening code comprehension, inspection techniques, and overall exam readiness. Course Dates: March 7 – March 28 Schedule: Saturdays only, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Code Book Used: • 2024 International Residential Code (IRC) This price includes the required code book. You can purchase it on your own, or we can purchase it for you. The cost covers the book, tabs & shipping. There are no refunds. *PLEASE NOTE: Location may change dependent on class size.
Cancellation Policy
Refund Policy: Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before the first day of the class. You will receive a refund, minus a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the start of the class, will receive a 100% refund. There are no refunds on books and materials.
